The Kalita NK102 filters are a cone shaped and unbleached coffee filters designed to be used with Kalita's 102 size coffee drippers (for 2~4 cups).

These high-quality cone shaped coffee filters are made in Japan under Kalita's strict internal manufacturing standards. For good coffee, all of Kalita's filters are specially designed for their drippers.

The environmental friendly filters are made from softwood pulp, unbleached and the chuck parts are crimped with a machine without the use of adhesive.

Instructions

Fold the filter's crimped edges along the fold lines before use. If not folded, it may result in leakage of coffee drips and/or the filter may get peeled away from the dripper while dripping.

After fitting the filter into the dripper, put the milled coffee powder into the filter. The appropriate amount is 10g of powders per serving, but you can adjust the amount according to preferences.

Slightly cool down the boiled water (approx. 90~92℃) and pour a small amount of it into the dripper. Make sure to moisten the powders evenly. For maximum results, brew the powders for about 30 seconds.

Add more hot water into the dripper. Pouring in a spiral pattern as if you are drawing a whirlwind. Make sure to pour the water evenly to the powders or the coffee may taste weak.

After extraction, throw away the whole powder with the whole paper filter. Do not pick up the filter paper or the bottom may come off.
